Adapting Curriculum responds to teacher's needs to expand their ability to adapt curriculum and instruction for students with and without disabilities in typical classrooms and other more specialized school settings. Though not a new concept, the ability to make adaptations is rapidly becoming an important issue for all students because of increasing individualization, diversity, accountability, and inclusion in general education classrooms. The adaptation process and the strategies and examples provided are appropriate for students at all grade levels and may be applied to all areas of curriculum.
